The word "Philadelphia" is pretty much synonymous with "sports fanaticism." So it's only fitting that the first annual U.S. Sports Film Festival should take place here October 23 - 26, 2008.
More than 25 new and classic sports-centric films — including Miracle, Invincible and The Natural — will be showcased at the inaugural Festival. To enhance your cinematic experience, each screening will be followed by a panel or Q&A session with filmmakers, writers, athletes and film stars.
Special events include a 5K run, sports memorabilia auctions and the Sports Making a Difference conference.

You can purchase tickets online at U.S. Sports Film Festival or by calling (646) 233-2033. You have the option to purchase a VIP Pass, a Screening Pass or individual tickets to films and events.
Honor the Greats
This year's festival will honor Philadelphia’s own Vince Papale — the inspiration for the classic sports film Invincible — as well as legendary Olympic documentarian Bud Greenspan, an eight-time Emmy Award-winning film director/producer.
