For one great night leading up to the Fourth of July, professional musicians and more than 15 talented local artists will perform and present their work on four stages along the Avenue of the Arts and in The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.
Formerly known as Arts on the Avenue, this annual event includes such diverse musical genres as the old school R&B of Philadelphia International Records, the smooth jazz of Point Blank and Jeff Lorber, as well as dance, poetry and other performing arts.
While the musicians and dancers perform on stage, visual artists will line the streets from City Hall to Spruce Streets, displaying their latest and greatest creations.
So head to the Avenue of the Arts, bask in a great summer night and enjoy Philadelphia's local art scene!
